TALKS... Each year the Museum features its popular “Winter Talk Series,” which includes six presentations on the cultural and natural heritage of Fidalgo and Guemes Islands. Museum staff are also available to give talks upon request.

TOURS... Tours of the Museum’s Gallery and W.T. PRESTON sternwheeler are available to groups upon request.
   
TRUNKS... The Anacortes Museum has eight Educational Trunks available to loan to teachers at school and in homes, and to scout leaders within the Anacortes School District. The trunks are divided as follows:

  1850-1899 ..................Early Settlers

  1950-1999…………...Technology, Tourism and Retirement

Island Voices Series Include:
historical information, pictures, artifacts, student activities and teacher’s guides. The Early History Series includes history booklets for students and a teacher’s resource book. Additional educational materials are also available on the topics of “Multicultural Education” and “Neighborhood, Community, Education.”
