Vintage Architecture References

 

In addition to our Handbook of Anacortes House Styles and our game of Find It!, there are many ways to learn about the architectrual styles you see around Anacortes.

The standard reference for vintage house styles is "A Field Guide to American Houses" by Virginia and Lee McAlester published by Knopf (May 12, 1984), ISBN 0394739698.  A copy is available in the Museum.
