NEW SCHEDULE

The Anacortes Museum is now open Tuesday through Sunday (and closed Monday). Tuesday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1-4pm. (NOTE: The Research Library is open Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm. Appointments preferred.)

 
More than 10,000 Anacortes history photographs are now online!

The Anacortes Museum has just launched its redesigned website, now linked to a searchable database of over 18,000 Anacortes Museum records. This new online system will allow students, historians, and everyone else to browse and search the photographs and artifacts in the Anacortes Museum’s collections from their home, office or iPhone.

 
The Life of Isaac Stevens: Washington Territory’s first Governor

The Anacortes Museum is hosting “Young Man in a Hurry: The Life of Isaac Stevens and the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War,” which will open Sept. 14 in the museum’s Carnegie Gallery.
