New exhibit! "1910 - A Look Back 100 Years"

2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Carnegie building – home of the Anacortes Museum – and to celebrate, we look at what was happening in Anacortes 100 years ago.

 
People Collect the Darndest Things...

The Museum is starting a series of short-term exhibits featuring special collections of Fidalgo and Guemes residents. The first one opened May 22 with Clarence and Lois Ricks' selection of plumb bobs, old-time tools and toys, carvings and more.

 
"The Wawona and the End of the Age of Sail"

Come on in to the Maritime Heritage Center and we'll spin you a yarn of the grand old cod schooner Wawona. This new exhibit runs until Autumn 2011 and admission is free!

 
Anacortes Antique Machinery Show

Enjoy the 15th annual machinery show on Saturday, Sept. 11 at Market and 6th St., 9-5 PM. Vintage gas, steam and diesel engines, tractors, sawmill and more. Fun for the family, and free!
